I used these folks for $4000 + in flooring in 2008 and was satisfied with their pricing and in store selection. However, the installers insisted it was not necessary to remove the old staples and pieces of carpet padding that remained on the sub floor and they installed new carpet directly over this, which I still feel. Additionally, all of the carpet installed has buckles years later. They also clearly over charged me $190 that I discovered by accident and debated with them for 45 days before my card was refunded. Despite this and for convenience, I tried them again a month ago for a small room, as I had the original receipts and therefore the room measurements and carpet information for an easy replacement. Well, not too easy. I was provided a written quote that included install and padding and some other work the installers would do to try and remedy the buckles mentioned above and tidy up some carpet that meets the room having new material installed. I made a 50% deposit at time of purchase and on completion of the job, the installer gave me the balance which was $90 more than quoted. This resulted in a phone call to the office and they explained the installer gets paid additional despite the contract clearly including the services for the written price. I explained that if the $90 was so important, they can have it and I will never utilize their services again and warn all those who do to make it very clear what the expectations are. The installers also left the job with furniture they moved all over, windows open and my alarm window supports twisted and marring the paint in the window sills. Much better purveyors of flooring available in the area in my opinion and shame on me for giving them a second chance from the 2008 fiasco. I'll now skip these guys forever!
